A bespoke out-of-hours installation completed in one long night for a Versace event environment that remained in place for around six to eight weeks.
The package went well beyond conventional flooring. Carpet had to be fixed to temporary ply-built pillars and wrapped around a raised rectangular catwalk. Higher sections required work from a temporary access tower — not something floor layers routinely need.
The overnight team worked through the specialist details within the single installation window. The access requirements even produced something of a rarity in the flooring records: a working-at-height risk assessment.
